1)Basically, advertisers contact Singpost to give out free samples or discount to people as part of an advertising bait.
2)Any one can subscribe to the Singpost Things box and choose what kinda of samples they prefer to receive.
3) Through the preferences, the items are mailed to the people under the different preference categories.
I find this pretty smart an advertising campaign as it is a win win situation for both advertisers and customers. Advertisers raise awareness to their brand names to interested customers and we in turn get free stuff.
